Traditional Portrait Drawing
Join us Tuesday evenings to learn the practice of traditional portrait drawing! Artist Paul Molnar will explain and demonstrate the methods of portrait drawing in graphite. Bring a reference photo of your chosen subject, and we'll provide the rest! No experience necessary, all are welcome!

About the event
Students will learn the traditional methods of portrait drawing. During the class, we will investigate the various techniques artists have empolyed to execute successful portraits; primarily through sight-size and comparative measurements. Anatomy and the behavior of light affecting forms will be addressed, as well as techniques for rendering convincing forms in space, with an emphasis in capturing subject likeness.
Please bring a reference photo of your desired subject, we'll provide the rest!
Skill Level: All are welcome!! (Beginner - Advanced)
