Create beautiful flower and leaf prints on totes and tea towels. Pounding is a super fun technique that anyone who can handle a hammer can do! 🔨 Artist Susie Danielowski will demonstrate and provide all of the tools and techniques you'll need to create gorgeous designs you'll love!
Leaf and Flower Pounding is a printing technique that includes mordanting fabric so that the pigment from your plant will look vibrant and will last. You are then ready to pound.
In this class you will receive a mordanted tote bag and tea towel to pound your creation onto. Susie will supply a variety of leaves and flowers and you are welcome to bring additional flowers or leaves to experiment with. Students MUST bring a hammer! You are sure to make a beautiful creation and possibly even pound out some sweat!
Skill Level: Beginner/Hobbiest
Materials: Provided - PLEASE BRING A HAMMER and any additional leaves/flowers you like!
