Acrylic Pet Portraits

Create a piece of art you can love (almost) as much as the subject! Artist Alysse Lensing will demonstrate, explain, and guide you through the methods used in acrylic painting to create pet portraits! Bring along a photo of your favorite furry friend to reference, and we'll provide the rest! No experience necessary, all are welcome!

Best practice for reference photo choices:

• Choose an image that focuses on your pet, not their environment!

• Compositions are often times more interesting when your subject is active; choose a photo of them doing something that makes you smile!

• Print your photo out on regular copy paper, so that the subject takes up more than half of the page.
