Using palette knives and brushes, students will learn to use their imagination to create a spontaneous impressionistic/expressionistic landscape painting. Students will use reference photos for inspiration and create paintings from their individual vision and understanding of the original subject through thoughtful interpretation. Our main focus will be in texture and design using basic composition theory, learning to enjoy and explore the process. Throughout the workshop, Barbara Van Dell Robinson will discuss color, materials, technique, and marketing. Join us for a fun workshop filled with individual attention and guidance!

Skill level: All are welcome! No experience necessary.
