Barbara Van Dell Robinson Bio
Barbara Van Dell Robinson, a Minnesota native, spent the last twenty years in Eureka Springs, AK. She moved back in 2020 and is currently based in Lindstrom, MN. Primarily an oil painter, she also works in acrylics, pen and ink, and sometimes watercolor. She has a love for nature, especially trees and flowers, which she depicts with color, textures, patterns and shapes that convey her feelings.
Among her most notable achievements are solo exhibits at Arkansas State University and Art Center of the Ozarks, as well as a juried group exhibition at Crystal Bridges American Art Museum where she was featured. She has also taught acrylic and oil painting at Eureka Springs School of Arts for several years, as well as pen and ink workshops at other venues.
Since 2020, back in Minnesota, she has received awards from shows put on through the East Central Reginal Art Council, Artreach, and the Hallberg Center for the Arts. Her originals are in private collections from coast to coast.
